AGenshin Impactplayer has shared an impressive anime-like fan-made video featuring the Electro polearm user Cyno. This character, who was released back in version 3.1 has played one of the most important roles in the whole Sumeru Arc.
Even though he is still very young, Cyno holds the position of General Mahamatra in the Sumeru Akademiya. He is known for his extreme dedication and ruthless punishments that even some of the Akademiya’s sages could not escape. Cyno was recently featured on a Limited Character Banner alongside the Pyro user Dehya in the first part ofGenshin Impactversion 3.5.

A Reddit user named reverieMidnight has shared a very impressive anime short that goes deeper into Cyno’s story. Fans seem to love the video with many fans claiming that this is by far the bestGenshin Impact-themed animated video they have ever seen. The video gathered a lot of attention as the already reached over 4k upvotes on the game’s official subreddit. Many fans have stated that this video got them hypedaboutGenshin Impact’s official animewhich has been confirmed a couple of months ago. The anime will be produced by the game’s developer HoYoverse and Ufotable, the studio behind popular anime titles such asDemon Slayer,Fate/Zero,andGod Eater.
Fans like the fact that the video also features other playable characters such as Dehya and Candace, both of whom are tied to Sumeru’s official storyline. Dehya belongs to the Eremites which are a group of mercenaries that hail from the desert parts of the Dendro nation. Just like Cyno, Dehya is known for her dedication, and she’s always completely loyal to whoever employs her services.HoYoverse has added Dehya to the Standard Bannerwhich means that players can get this character either by wishing on this banner or by losing a 50/50 when pulling for limited characters.
Candace is one of the descendants of Al-Ahmar and the guarding of Aaru Village, which is the only remaining town of King Deshret’s followers. Even though the video shows Candace fighting Cyno, the two are actually great friends in the current timeline. Both of them help the Travelersave the region from the Fatui Harbingers and the Balladeer.
When it comes toCyno’s power on the battlefield, he is considered a selfish DPS. This means that players need to adapt their whole team composition to fulfill the Electro user’s damage potential since Cyno provides no real benefits when he gets swapped out.
