In gacha-adventure games likeGenshin Impact, resource gathering is essential for success. Fromgathering wood for the Serenitea Potto sweet flowers to primogems, a large portion of gameplay builds upon good resource management. Yet, new players often underestimate the importance of one resource in particular -Mora.

The game’s primary currency, Mora funds all sorts of processes in the game. Crafting, character ascension, weapon upgrades, even buying products in the stores require a little bit of Mora. That said, these purchases add up quickly; it’s easy forGenshin Impactplayers to go from millionaires to broke in a matter of seconds. Lucky for players, there are some easy tips for better managing your money supply.
10Don’t Buy From The Shops
The majority of Mora expenses inGenshin Impactcome from talent and weapon upgrades. However, players shouldn’t underestimate the expenses associated with other products. The shops, including the restaurants and general stores, offer their products solely for Mora.
Granted, the stores can be very convenient in a pinch, but it isn’t always a necessity. Players will find themselves saving far more Mora if they take the time to collect some items. After all, why spend an unreasonable amount on crab in Liyue Harbor, when players could collect them for free on any beach?

9Do The Surveys
Yes, surveys can be a hassle. However, miHoYo’s regular surveys offeran important service: feedback to improve the gamethat allGenshin Impactplayers love. That said, improvements to the game aren’t the only rewards that follow these surveys.

All surveys up to the present have included a reward of at least a little bit of Mora. Granted, the amount may seem negligible, but it’s more than enough for a few minutes. Not only that, but it gives miHoYo a better idea of what players want in the game; it’s a win-win for everybody involved.
8Pay Close Attention To Events
Mora makes up the second most common reward during events, following primogems. While most players pay attention to in-game events, likeLiyue’s Lantern Rite, there’s more to miHoYo’s events than meets the eye.
For example, many players forget that miHoYo plans web events in addition to in-game events. While these events can be a little bit of a hassle in some cases, they also offer Mora as rewards (in addition to primogems in some cases.) Not to mention, events oftencome with free codesfor primogems and Mora.

7Craft Smarter
The crafting benches in Mondstadt, Liyue, and Dragonspine are among the most common places to spend exuberant amounts of Mora. Sure, the Mora costs can seem low for every talent book or upgrade material. But players will find themselves spending far more than they intend if they craft in the wrong ways.

Sometimes, it’s easier to complete a domain when Mora is low.Domains often give out two to four talent books and other crafting materials at a time. That said, this route can be an easy way to dodge a cost of anywhere from 100 Mora to over 1000 Mora per pop.
6Maybe Skip The Next Banner
Many willlook at bannersas just being a primogem expense. However, veteran players will know better. Yes, the direct cost is made of primogems, but there are indirect costs as well. With each new character, they need to beleveled up, talents upgraded, artifacts found, and weapons built.
All of these can easily cost into the millions of Mora to accomplish. It isn’t uncommon for players to be bankrupted after a banner or two, even if they save a large amount of Mora. This isn’t to say that all banners are bad, just that players may find it beneficial to carefully choose their banners if they find themselves low on Mora.

5Good Weapons Go A Long Way
Talents and artifacts build the backbone ofGenshin Impact’sgameplay, but players can spend a lot of money on upgrading these stats. After all, these are exactly the reason why skipping a banner can save a lot of Mora.

Certainly, players shouldn’t ignore talent and artifact upgrades, buta good weaponcan take up the slack. A four-star character can often be elevated to five-star status with a good enough weapon, as well as vice versa. In the end, choosing to invest a little bit in a good weapon can be a makeshift solution to spending a fortune on fully building a new character.
4Don’t Ignore Daily Expeditions
Daily expeditions make up one of the many services found in the Adventurers' Guild. There are a lot of potential rewards for an expedition — eggs, sweet flowers, minerals, etc. However, of the many ignored expeditions, one reigns supreme in many cases:5000 Mora(per 20 hours.)
These expeditions can be found in Stormterror’s Lair for Mondstadt, as well as in Jueyun Karst and Dihua Marsh in Liyue. Though the amount may seem irrelevant, this method can make over 150,000 Mora per monthin each area. Doing this over a few months may be enough to offset small expenses entirely, which can be incredibly helpful to players having difficulty saving.

3Blossoms of Wealth
Blossoms of Revelation and Wealth are two of the mostunappreciated sources of in-game wealth. Giving players an amount of level-up material and Mora respectively, these two resin features made the backbone of the early game for many.

By the late game, many players begin to stop using the two due to their seemingly low rewards compared to domains. This is a mistake as Blossoms of Wealth in particular are the solution to major shortages in Mora.Giving out 20,000 to 60,000 Moraper 20 resin (depending on the player’s world level), completing a handful can easily reverse a bad situation.
2Don’t Forget To Go Treasure Hunting
Compared to higher difficult chests, common chests often go underappreciated. However, these humble chests have a hidden secret — they respawn after a given amount of time. Granted, they won’t give out primogems after the first collection, but they can help with Mora shortages.
Each common chest collected gives at least 1 to 3 sigils corresponding to the nation’s store. Though the reward is only 1600 Mora per 2 sigils, this can easily add up if players collect chests as they go. While chests certainly aren’t the solution to a bad Mora situation, they do help lighten the burden.

1Stop By The Realm Depot
Considering the novelty of the Serenitea Pot, it’s understandable that this feature would go unnoticed. The Realm Depot allows players to purchase various goods that enhance performance both in the Serenitea Pot and out. What’s available depends on the player’s trust rank, ranging from basic fabric to artifact-upgrading sanctifying unction.
At rank 8, one of the multitudes of items to choose from includes10,000 Mora. The 20 sets per stock are available for 120 realm currency each. This ultimately means that players can stock up on a maximum of200,000 Mora per week.
