UsingFortnite, and more specifically itsCreative mode, a builder by the name of Nellaf is finishing up his recreation ofModern Warfare 2’sclassic multiplayer map Highrise. Nellaf is a member ofFortnitecreation group Team Evolve, a collection of builders and game mode makers forFortnite’sCreative mode.

Highrise, which was released as one ofModern Warfare 2’sbase gamemultiplayer maps, takes place atop a skyscraper in New York City. The map is generally fondly remembered by many players, among the likes of Favela, Rust, and Terminal, for its chaotic, multi-layered combat, which allows for a variety of playstyles.

Nella has painstakingly recreated Highrise, down to the angles at which various objects are tilted, and his effort shows. Aside from the different lighting between games, Nella’sFortniterendition of Highrise looks uncannily like itsCall of Dutycounterpart. The map’s cranes are angled just right, the surrounding buildings outside the play area areaccurately recreated, and even the helicopter and lettering on the building are both right where they should be. Even minuscule details like various teddy bears placed around the map as Easter eggs are still present in theFortniteversion.

This isn’t the first time Nellaf has recreated a map inCall of Duty. Previously, he had broughtBlack Ops 2’smultiplayer Standoff, set in a town in Kyrgyzstan, toFortnite. Nellaf is also the builder behind theFortniterecreationofSuper Mario Sunshine’sDelfino Plaza.

The group he’s a member of, Team Evolve, also has quite the extensive catalog ofFortnitecreations to their name. Recreations its members have made includeCounter-Strike’sDust 2, which is playable with its own search and destroy mode, the aforementioned RustfromModern Warfare 2, and a Corellian corvette fromStar Wars. Aside from creating original maps and game modes, Team Evolve occasionally works on creations for larger organizations like the Red Cross or Nickelodeon.

Considering that Nellaf tweeted that players can expect a code for the map “this weekend,” it’s safe to assume thatFortniteplayers should be able to hop on Highrise either today or tomorrow. For now, the most anyFortniteorCall of Dutyfanswill be able to see are the photos that Nellaf released side by side with screenshots fromModern Warfare 2. And frankly, they look pretty spot on.

Fortniteis currently available on Android, iOS, Mac, PC, Playstation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
