Completing this challenge is a multistep process, requiring fans to locate both a Runaway Boulder and a Baller. Fortnite: Boost into a Runaway Boulder and Dislodge it With a Baller
The first step to resolving this quest is tofind a Baller, andRave Caveis the absolute best place to do that. For full clarity, this named location is situated just west of the center of the map, andFortnite’s Ballerscan be found at several spots within the area. Those spots include inside the huge Cuddle Team Leader head, near a multicolored structure east of the head, and in a cave south of the head, and they have been marked on the following map.

Upon locating a Baller atFortnite’s Rave Cave, players should approach it and press the input that appears onscreen to drive the vehicle. Fans can then set their sights on finding aRunaway Boulder, and indeed there is one near Rave Cave’s roller coaster. More specifically, this Runaway Boulder is justwest of theCuddle Team Leader head, and its position, along with the positions of several other Boulders, can be seen on this map.
Regardless of the specific Runaway Boulder that a player chooses to target, the next step is to dislodge it from the pile of rocks that hold it to the ground. This is done by using thisFortnitevehicle’s boost feature to run into the Boulder, and the input that triggers that action can be seen on the left side of the screen. Notably, a single boost may not be enough to dislodge the Runaway Boulder, and players may need to come into contact with the rock a few times before everything is said and done.
With respect to what fans will earn for boosting into a Runaway Boulder and dislodging it with a Baller, the reward is 15,000 XP. While this is a very small percentage of the 7,920,000 XP that are needed to reach Level 100 onFortnite’s Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass, weekly challenges do still play an important role in ranking up. As such, players should make sure to put some time toward the other Week 2 quests after completing this one.
