Fortniteplayers understand that there’s nothing more special in the battle royale than the end of a Season. Each Season’s closing event is when Epic Games puts its best foot forward, launching massive cinematic events and implementing game-changing new content. There is one exception, however. AFortniteSeason-ender is outdone only by a bigger event – the end of a Chapter. NowFortniteplayers have a date to keep in mind, as Epic’s confirmed Chapter 2’s finale event will occur on December 4 at 4:00 PM ET.

All Epic is willing to say aboutChapter 2’s conclusionis that the event is named The End and that it’ll revolve around players fighting back against the Cube Queen. Epic also describes it as a “battle for your legacy,” and that “nothing will ever be the same.” Needless to say, it’s going to be a meaningful experience.
Players who want to participate in The End ofFortniteSeason 2 will have to set their alarm clocks. The End event playlist will officially open up 30 minutes prior to its start, so squads will want to group up around 3:30 PM ET on December 4. Epic is also allowing players to queue as groups of up to 16 players, so everyone can enjoy The End with their friends. The End is a one-time-only in-game event, soFortnitefanswon’t want to miss it.

It’s one last chance for players to capitalize onFortnite’s Season 8-exclusive content, before The End transforms the battle royale into something entirely new in Chapter 3.
