AlthoughForspokenwon’t be released for Xbox next week with its initial launch, the PC port of the game will include Xbox achievements, allowing fans of the platform to stack up Gamerscore points. As many PlayStation and PC players get their hands onForspokenon January 24, Xbox fans will be left waiting but may be able to get proper credit for playing the game if they have a gaming computer.
According to reports,Forspokenwill be an exclusive for PS5 for two years, meaning that Xbox players won’t be able to earn achievements on their consoles until 2025. Xbox fans that happen to own PCs are often privy to PS4 and PS5 titles that may normally be exclusive, withPlayStation games likeHorizon Zero DawnandFinal Fantasy 7 Remakehaving already made it to the platform. Without console access toForspoken, some players may utilize the earlier PC release as a way to beat the game before it ever arrives on Xbox Series X/S.

The full list ofForspokenXbox achievements hasn’t been released yet since the game hasn’t officially launched, but some have already appeared online. Similar to previousSquare Enix RPGs, it’s possible that there are some Xbox achievements that are linked to the completion of chapters of the game, notable challenges to overcome, and collectibles that may be scattered around the environments, whether open or instanced. Given that Xbox players won’t be able to unlock any of these achievements for the first two years of the game’s life, the PC version may be a good way for dedicated completionists to get ahead of those without a proper gaming PC.
The PC specifications have been released forForspoken as wellwhich some fans are scanning to see if they have appropriate computer setups for theSquare Enix action RPG for the pre-launch. The WindowsForspokenPC port will offer achievements which may include the total number that makes it to Xbox upon its launch at the conclusion of the limited-time exclusivity to PlayStation. Beyond this, the minimum requirements forForspokenPC are an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i7-3770 CPU, AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB VRAM video card, 16GB of RAM, 150GB storage space, and a display that offers 720p at 30 frames per second.
ProspectiveForspokenPC players with hefty rigswill see recommended settings that may be above other recent releases, with a suggested AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700K CPU. Though it’s currently unclear if or whenForspokenwill eventually arrive on Xbox consoles or not, the inclusion of PC achievements may tease a future launch given how similar they will be on Xbox Series X/S.
