Square Enix recently dropped a ton of new details concerning its upcomingFinal Fantasy 7 RemakeIntergrade, such as the game’s inclusion ofWeiss fromDirge of Cerberus. Also, among these details, the publisher announced thatFinal Fantasy 7 Remake Intergradewould be getting its own soundtrack. It’ll be the fourth soundtrack released forFinal Fantasy 7 Remakeso far, and Square Enix already released the majority of information regarding it.

The only details missing from the soundtrack’s official Square Enix page seem to be its cover art, which isn’t too surprising. The cover art of theFinal Fantasy 7 Remake Plussoundtrack didn’t appear with its project’s reveal either. Tetsuya Nomura hand-drew a new illustration of Cloud Strife for the project and didn’t finish it until sometime after the track’s reveal. TheIntergradesoundtrack might be in a similar situation; only it’s waiting on anew Yuffieillustration.

Beyond that, the site does reveal the soundtrack’s release date, the number of discs it contains, what it costs in Japan, and its pre-order bonus. The compilation arrives on June 22, 2025, and will cost 3850 yen for three discs containing music debuting inIntergradeas well as tracks from the originalFinal Fantasy 7 Remake. Also, those that pre-order the soundtrack will receive a mousepad depicting “Wutai” as well as Leviathan. The mousepad will not appear with the track again after its supply runs out.

Overall, theIntergradesoundtrack should be the most inclusive one of them all. If it doesn’t contain all of the music available on theFF7 Remake Plussoundtrack, then it will still likely contain everything on the first album, which hosts every track appearing inRemake. As this album will be the first of the lot to go international, those outside of Japan interested in buying it won’t have to spend on redundant soundtracks unless they absolutely want to. Collectors might find the idea enticing.

Regarding the international details, they didn’t appear on the official site, but they did show up on the Square Enix store, which reveals fans can buy the soundtrack for 35 dollars in the US. That aside,Intergradeintroducing newFF7 Remakemusicis exciting. Yuffie channels completely different energy from Cloud Strife as a protagonist, so it’ll be interesting to see how the new music reflects that in her INTERmission episode as well as any other new content Square Enix decides to add outside of that, if, of course, it does.
