During a press conference at London Fan Fest, Yoshida acknowledged an anonymous Japanese player who had completed the daunting task ofobtaining all 2,751Final Fantasy 14achievements. Yoshi-P congratulated the player and alluded to more achievements coming withFinal Fantasy 14’s future expansions, providing more content for the player. He even suggested that the developer would consider adding more difficult achievements to the game, if requested by that one particular player. Yoshida encouraged the player to send the team a message throughFinal Fantasy 14’s forum, suggesting the dev team would “keep their promise.”

The accomplishment from the unnamed Japanese player is no small task within a game as gargantuan asFinal Fantasy 14. The player would be required to win thousands of battles in the PVP modes and cleareveryFinal Fantasy 14dungeon20 times, alongside non-combat achievements like catching every fish and completing every quest. Many fans of the game have estimated the task would require up to seven years of real-world time spent playingFinal Fantasy 14, based on the limited availability of repeatable side quests.

Final Fantasy 14achievement hunters won’t have to wait long for new content to grind out their MMORPG accolades. The previously mentionedFinal Fantasy 16crossover is expected to begin during the game’s Patch 6.5 series, introducing new boss fights anda Torgal mountto the MMORPG.
