Mutated Events happen pretty often inFallout 76.Depending on Bethesda’s calendar, players can expect to have at least one week of Mutated Events every few weeks. Mutated Events are great for players whowant to earn more XPand better rewards for completing events.
These events are very popular. More often than not, the majority of players on any given server will join the event. Every time the player completes a Mutated Event, they will receive a mutated package. When opened, a mutated package contains a whole slew of extra rewards. This includes legendary pieces, aid items, ammo, and more.

Completing Mutated Events
During a Mutated Events week, players can expect to see one Mutated Event pop up on the hour every hour. Similar toDaily Ops,enemies in Mutated Events will have some sort of mutationthat makes them more powerful or harder to deal with. The possible mutations that enemies can have are shown in the list below:
All enemies will have one of the effects listed above during a Mutated Event. It’s possible to see what effect the enemies will have by reading the information on the Public Event icon on the map. As for the events themselves, aside from the enemies being mutated, the events remain the same. The Mutated Events can be seen below:

The Two Types Of Reward Packages
Mutated Party Packs contain 20% more consumables and 25% more crafting components than a standard Mutated Package. A Mutated Party Pack also has a much higher chance of awarding players a second legendary item, plan, or serum.
Both package types contain the same reward pools. You just get quite a bit more from a Mutated Party Pack than you do from a Mutated Package. Some notable rewards include:
In the future, it looks like there will also be a chance for players to receive a piece of rare apparel from these packages. This new addition is live on the Public Test Server. While things on the PTS are subject to change, players could expect to see some rare items being added to the loot pool during the games' next update.
