Sony Interactive Entertainment presented the PlayStation Showcase 2021 today, on September 9. The livestreamed presentation ran for about 40 minutes and showed off some surprising reveals, announcements, and updates on titlesPlayStationfans already know of.
For those who missed the live presentation and would like a rundown on what they missed, here are all of the games for the PS5 that were revealed during thePlayStation Showcase 2021.

Knights of the Old Republic Remake
The highly rumored remake ofKnights of the Old Republicis indeed heading to the PS5 and will allow fans the chance to relive theStar Warsexperience in modern graphics. There’s no release window just yet, butKnights of the Old Republicwill be a timed console exclusive for the PS5. There wasn’t much to show off in the teaser, but it does give a glimpse of Revan lighting his lightsaber.
Project EVE
Taking place in a not too distant future,Project EVEis an ambitious action RPGthat seems to look very similar to other character-action games likeBayonettaandDevil May Cry. The trailer shown during the presentation revealed that it’s coming to the PS5, but it’s not confirmed whether it’ll be coming to other platforms. It’s being developed by South Korean studio, ShiftUp.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Fans of Gearbox’sBorderlandsseries will be happy to know that the next spin-off in the series is right around the corner.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on July 03, 2025. The trailer shown during the showcase gave viewers a taste of what to expect, offering lots of gun-filled mayhem to get into.

Forspoken
Square Enix showed off more of its upcoming fantasy action-adventure title,Forspoken. In the trailer, Square Enix goes more in-depth withForspoken’s protagonist, Frey Holland, as she is transported from New York City to a fantasy world called Athia.Forspokenwill release in the spring of 2022 for PS5 and PC.
Rainbow Six Extraction
Ubisoft showed off a new trailer forRainbow Six Extraction, which allows up to three players to fight against creepy monsters together.Rainbow Six Extractionis coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Stadia in January 2022.
Alan Wake Remastered
Remedy revealedAlan Wake Remasteredearlier this week, but the official debut trailer was shown during the PlayStation Showcase. ThisTwin Peaks-inspired adventure game is a cult classic from the Xbox 360 days and remains one of the most thought-provoking and mysterious games to come from the developers ofControl.Alan Wake Remasteredlaunches on July 10, 2025.
GTA 5
Grand Theft Auto 5being the second best-selling game of all time isn’t going to stop Rockstar from bringing the title to as many platforms as possible. A lengthy gameplay trailer forGrand Theft Auto 5was presented during the showcase, confirming a PS5 release window of March 2022; it’ll also come to Xbox Series X/S.
Ghostwire: Tokyo
Ghostwire: Tokyois the next game from Tango Gameworks, the team founded by Shinji Mikami that also worked on theEvil Withinhorror series. A new gameplay trailer was shown, giving viewers more details on the first-person combat and the story. It seems that players will control a young man who has mysterious psychic powers and abilities and must fight demons attacking the city of Tokyo. The game will be released in 2022 for PC and as a timed console exclusive for PS5.
Guardians of the Galaxy
The next Marvel game from Square Enix is all about theGuardians of the Galaxyand is launching next month. The latest trailer dives deeper into the story of Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, and the rest of the gang as they face off against the galaxy’s toughest opponents.Guardians of the Galaxylaunches October 26 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt
Bloodhuntis a multiplayer battle royale titleset in theVampire: The Masqueradeuniverse. It’s out now as a free-to-play early access title on PC and will be coming to the PS5 later this year.
