Recently, the newElden Ring: Shadow of the ErdtreeDLC was announced, promising more bosses and stories. Now, gamers can playElden Ringfrom the same perspective asSkyrimif they want to: in first person. A new mod called “First Person Souls - Full Game Conversion” is perfect for anyone who wanted to play one ofthe classic FromSoftware gamesfrom a new perspective, making it look like a very hard and gritty version ofSkyrim. During the game, players will be able to change perspectives at any moment, just like in the famous Bethesda game, in case they find any difficult parts to play in the first or third-person.
The mod also adjusts a few core mechanics to make the first-person experience smooth. According to the developer Dasaav, the mod comes with custom HUD elements, as well as a few changes to how the main character moves. These small quality-of-life tweaks ensure that the experience won’t feel janky, as the title was originally designed fordifficult third-person combatthat requires precision and good timing.
Elden Ringfans who are interested in updates regarding FromSoftware’s game should also know that there’s anew FromSoftware project coming outsometime in the future. According to recent LinkedIn updates, producer Kenneth Chan, who worked onElden Ring, is currently developing a new project, and it’s not the already announcedArmored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. At the moment, however, there is still no official information about whether this will be another Soulslike game, although that is very likely, considering FromSoftware’s recent track record.
