Malenia’s cruel nature in the game hasn’t stopped her from garnering a sizable fanbase, however, with gamers around the world making impressive fan art and cosplays of the character. One fan, in fact, even got the chance to spot Malenia-related merchandise in real life, albeit in a rather unexpected way.
A Reddit user by the name of Drooks89 posted a photo on the r/Eldenring subreddit ofa Malenia statuethey found at a brewery in California. According to the Redditor, Bandai Namco’s American office is “right next door” to this particular brewery. This incredible statue of Malenia managed to end up in such a bizarre location because it was gifted to the owners of the bar by the employees at Bandai Namco themselves. It turns out that the staff working at the video game publisher “have company parties here often,” so they decided to give this statue away.
Interestingly enough, though, it seems the Malenia statue is missing its left arm for some unknown reason. Drooks89 speculates that since the figure is located in a brewery, it’s possible that someone accidentally broke its arm off when they were intoxicated. Unfortunately, though, no one other than the employees atElden Ringpublisher Bandai Namcomay ever know the real cause as to why the Malenia statue’s missing limb fell off.
Fans Continue to Find Elden Ring Memorabilia in the Most Unexpected of Places
Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time that FromSoftware’s acclaimed open-world epic has made an appearance of some sort at a brewery. Back in May 2023, aPennsylvania-based brewery created anElden Ring-inspired beerthat sought to capture the essence of the game’s strange world. As for Malenia, on the other hand, though she hasn’t been discovered at many other bars, some statues of the character were found at a South Korean mall and a U.K. game store a few years ago.
