TheLegendary Armamentsare a series of powerful weapons that can be found inElden Ring. They are spread out across the Lands Between andoffer an Achievementfor finding all of them. There are nine in total to be found, each with some unique aspects that make them all worth collecting.
Some, however, are far more impressive than others. Although even the weakest Legendary Armaments offer something to the Tarnished, the strongest entries on this list are some of the best items in the entire game. Weapon Skill
Devourer of Worlds
Devourer’s Scepteris one of the easiest Legendary Armaments to obtain inElden Ring, which is why it is not the strongest. This massive weapon deals both physical and fire damage; although its damage is not the most impressive, it is still usable in PvE. With the right setup, it canalso be viable in PvPdue to its solid attribute scaling, long reach, and strong and quick one-handed moveset that can catch many foes off guard.
Its Weapon Skill is also quite situational, as it does not deal enough single-target damage to deal with bosses or other players effectively. Against a group of enemies, however, it can provide an impressive amount of area-of-effect damage and lifesteal, making it a decent mobbing weapon. It also boasts the longest range of any life-leeching ability in the game.
How To Get Devourer’s Scepter
Devourer’s Scepter is droppedby Tarnished Knight Bernahl at the Warmaster’s Shack in Stormhill, Limgrave, or later in Crumbling Farum Azula after completing Volcano Manor and defeating Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy. At this point, now known as Recusant Bernahl, he will invade the player.

Special Effect
Ignores 40% Damage Negation From Blocks
For players who prefer fighting other Tarnished rather than bosses or groups of enemies inElden Ring, theEclipse Shotelmay be perfect, causing Death Blight build-up on hit. Although this is almost useless in PvE, it instantly kills other players if not cured and can be combined withother Death Blight effectsto make for a pretty viable PvP build.
To make the most of this curved sword, players will want to go into New Game+ and get a second one, allowing them to cause a lot more build-up via dual-weilding. It’s still not the most powerful way of dealing with other players, and is almost useless against enemies, but it does earn a place for itself.
How To Get Eclipse Shotel
Eclipse Shotel is found in Castle Sol, northeast of Mountaintops of the Giants. No boss or invader fight is required as players can simply pick it up from the altar inside the church in the castle’s southeast section.

Oath of Vengeance
Although it may look rather unwieldy, it can deal an impressive amount of damage and has benefited from many of the buffs toColossal weapons. In general, however, players would be better off using most other Colossal weapons found inElden Ringlater on.
One unique use for theGrafted Blade Greatswordis in its Weapon Skill. This grants the player a bonus to all their attributes, making it a useful weapon to swap to for a decent buff to damage. It lasts a minute, making it useful against bosses, and is one of the many buffs players can use when trying tokill bosses as quickly as possible.
How To Get Grafted Blade Greatsword
The Tarnishedcomes across the Grafted Blade Greatswordby defeating the Leonine Misbegotten boss at the end of Castle Morne, located in the Weeping Peninsula. Since the boss is vulnerable to fire, using fire-based attacks is recommended for an easier victory.

If players are looking for a good weapon for a Faith/Holy build then theGolden Order Greatswordmay be a good fit. This beautiful blade deals good physical and holy damage and can make quick work of any foe inElden Ring. The weapon art causes an explosion of golden light and then allows the player to send arcing waves of gold at enemies.
Aside from a beautiful design and alore link to Radagon, the sword also makes a name for itself in PvP. The Weapon Skill’s attacks are quite wide and have great range, allowing them to reliably catch other players off-guard. They also have impressive knockback making the Armament especially deadly near ledges.
How To Get Golden Order Greatsword
Golden Order Greatsword is earnedby defeating the optional Misbegotten Crusader boss at the end of the Cave of the Forlorn, south of the Minor Erdtree in the Consecrated Snowfield. Like the Leonine Misbegotten, this boss is particularly weak to fire.

Night-and-Flame Stance
Once considered perhaps the greatest weapon inElden Ring, theSword of Night and Flamehas since been nerfed and is now far less overpowered. It is far from weak, however, as it is still entirely viable in any situation the player may find themselves in. Not only doesthis Straight Sword inflict fire damage, but it also deals magic damage in equal measure. Another advantage of this sword is its very low carrying weight, making it a great choice for a secondary weapon due to its devastating skill.
The Weapon Skill allows the weapon to unleash a wide flame attack or a beam of magic damage at a single target. This makes the weapon extremely adaptable, as it can be equally useful against bosses and groups of enemies, dealing massive damage to both.
How To Get Sword Of Night And Flame
Sword of Night and Flame is locatedin Caria Manor, far to the north in Liurnia of the Lakes. No boss fights are involved, but players must access a locked room by dropping through a hole in the roof, which requires careful exploration.

+20% Damage Against Dragons, +10% Damage Against Ancient Dragons
The only spear on the list of Legendary Armaments inElden Ring, theBolt of Gransaxis a powerful weapon in close quarters, but can also smite enemies at range. The Weapon Skill, called Ancient Lightning Spear, wraps the blade in gold lightning before hurling it at a target, dealing high damage and knocking them back. Another advantage is that this spear deals extra damageagainst Dragon and Ancient Dragon enemytypes.
The speed of the throw is fast enough to catch most bosses and even some players before they can dodge, making it a useful ranged attack to soften up enemies before running in with a charge attack.
How To Get Bolt Of Gransax
Bolt of Gransax is obtainedin Leyndell, Royal Capital, by navigating the city’s precarious platforms and ledges. Players must collect it before progressing too far in the story, as after defeating Maliketh, the Black Blade in Crumbling Farum Azula, Leyndell becomes Ashen Capital, making the weapon permanently unobtainable.

Wave of Destruction
Another Colossal weapon,Ruins Greatswordis heavy and powerful. The base attack is impressive but the charged heavy and Weapon Skill attacks are what put this weapon above most others. The heavy attack causes stagger andreleases a wave of gravity magicwithout any FP cost, which makes it a reliable area-of-effect and crowd-control ability with no cost. The Weapon Skill causes a line of gravity damage which damages the ground beneath it.
Such attacks can deal excellent damage and also have a very impressive range and can hit multiple targets. This makes it useful in all situations inElden Ring. Even in PvP, many players will be caught by the attack, especially if they are in a group.
How To Get Ruins Greatsword
Ruins Greatsword is awardedafter defeating the Misbegotten Warrior & Crucible Knight dual boss in Redmane Castle Plaza, Caelid. This fight is accessible before the Radahn Festival or after defeating Starscourge Radahn and reloading the area.

55 Frostbite Build-Up On Hit
Thisclassic greatsword returnsinElden Ring,and is arguably at its strongest in its latest iteration. TheDark Moon Greatswordis an excellent choice for Intelligence builds. The Weapon Skill is delightful for Mages, imbuing the blade with frost and magic, and allowing them to send waves of damage with charged attacks for no extra FP cost. It practically grants an unlimited number of ranged Frostbite attacks for one minute.
With theright build, buffs, and Talismans, these ranged attacks can destroy anything in their path, and can make the player practically unstoppable. What’s even better is that, even with just its regular attack, this Greatsword still inflicts Frostbite buildup on enemies, making it one of the greatest Cold weapons in the game with unparalleled synergy.
How To Get Dark Moon Greatsword
Dark Moon Greatsword is found beneath the Cathedral of Manus Celes, on the north end of the Moonlight Altar Plateau. To access this area, players must complete Ranni’s questline and present herwith the Dark Moon Ring.

Eochaid’s Dancing Blade
TheMarais Executioner’s Swordmakes any enemy inElden Ringseem like a toy. So long as the player can close the gap, thesword will remove that enemy from existenceso quickly, they may as well have never been there in the first place. This Legendary Armament truly lives up to its name as its Weapon Skill is one of the most powerful in the game.
This raises the sword forward and charges it with energy as it spins into the enemy, dealing constant damage. The damage this ability can deal is so ridiculous that it practically trivializes any encounter. With recent patches, the attack can also be canceled, meaning that the player is not left exposed if they miss. Even thetoughest bosses in the gamecannot stand against it for long.
How To Get Marais Executioner’s Sword
Marais Executioner’s Sword is acquiredby defeating Elemer of the Briar, who wields it. He is found at the top of the Shaded Castle in northern Altus Plateau.
