Given the sheer number of doors in theDisney Dreamlight Valleycastle, there will surely be many more realms and characters added going forward. Still, not all of these doors need to be filled out withDisney and Pixar characters. While the doors in the main wing of the castle could easily be filled with realms likeTangled,Lilo and Stitch,Big Hero 6, andMonsters Inc, there are two blocked off wings of doors by the left and right staircases that would be perfect for Marvel and Star Wars characters.

ThoughDisney Dreamlight Valleyshould obviously prioritize mainline Disney and Pixar franchises, as there is still plenty more that can be done with the core IPs, Marvel and Star Wars expansions could extend the game’s life cycle significantly. Adding all the doors at once for each franchise via a major DLC could bring a lot of new players to the game, and it would provide several hours of content since there would be so many new items and quests. When it comes to who is included, the sky is the limit.

Potential Marvel Content in Disney Dreamlight Valley

With Marvel content, there are several iconic heroes that could be introduced. Fortunately, it is easy to imagine unique realms for many of these characters. Iron Man’s realm could take players to Stark Tower, while Doctor Strange could be found within the Sanctum Sanctorum. Black Panther’s realm could allow gamers to explore a part ofthe beautiful nation of Wakanda, and Asgard could be on full display when gamers go to recruit Thor.

Though some other fan favorites will be harder to design realms for, like Spider-Man and Captain America, there are plenty of options available to Gameloft. A few characters could be picked up from the Baxter Building or Milano ship in Fantastic Four and Guardians of the Galaxy realms, while key X-Men members could be housed in Xavier’s school. GivenDisney Dreamlight Valley’s use of villains thus far, someone likeDoctor Doomwould be a fun surprise, with players possibly visiting Latveria in his realm and then placing his castle somewhere in the valley.

Potential Star Wars Content in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The colorful Star Wars universe has even more potential withinDisney Dreamlight Valley. The Mandaloriancontent would be a huge hit, as not only would players get to hang out with Din Djarin, butGroguas well. Similar to Moana’s quest line and the Pua reward, finishing all of Din’s quests could see Grogu being unlocked as a pet, with the adorable green baby resting in his pod and following players wherever they go.

Darth Vader’s castle is a no-brainer as a house for the valley, as is a Tatooine hut for Luke Skywalker. Leia could live in an Alderaan skyscraper, Yoda could be found in a Dagobah-like structure, and Rey could reside in a scrap heap. Other popular figures likeObi-Wan Kenobiand Ahsoka Tano would make for excellent friends, with Han, Chewbacca, and the series’ many droids being viable additions as well.

ThoughDisney Dreamlight Valleywill likely avoid dipping into the Marvel and Star Wars wells, expansions or even spin-off games based on both IPs seem viable. Characters likeCassian Andorand Captain Marvel would be just as fun to spend time with as Moana and Kristoff, and players would instantly have access to many more interesting items to customize their homes and valleys with. This extends to clothing, too, as fresh hairstyles and outfits based on Marvel and Star Wars could give players new cosmetics to grind for.

Disney Dreamlight Valleyis available now in early access for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
