The Crusader has been a chart-topper sinceDiablo 3and life is no different here inDiablo Immortal. After spending time being the top dog when it comes to clearing rifts in the last installment, the Crusader is back, just as good at clearing rifts, and has some added PvP and support abilities.

All this promise is unlocked only if gamers gear up the Crusader appropriately. With how closely the skills are tied to the legendary armor inDiablo Immortal, the Crusader can easily be a wasted opportunity and the most ignorable unit on the battlefield. These pieces of gear ensure that won’t happen.
8Sudden Vallation - PvP - Head
The biggest problem is using Holy Banner in a group is that many allies will not appreciate having their critical strike damage nerfed. Replacing that buff with an area-of-effect damage effect might seem like it’s only good forclearing out the cobwebs, but there’s a serious upside.
Consider that PvP opponents will be getting dragged to places they don’t like to be by the Crusader. Throwing this down right before grabbing ahold of the opponent creates a lethal area to drag them through.

7Many-Eyed Aegis - PvE - Head

Staying mobile is of vital importance in PvE, perhaps more so than even PvP. Players don’t tend to have instant-death moves that kill a rival in a single hit but enemies, especially bosses regularly have such a powerful move.

Whentraveling through the game with auto-navigation, the Crusader can kill on the fly with the Many-Eyed Aegis centering the damage on the Crusader and not a static point on the ground. Demons that want to move away will be sad to run into this piece.
6Faith Ascent - PvP - Shoulders
Unlessthe players cheating in PvPare around, there is little chance for human enemies to avoid the Crusader’s reach with Falling Sword. Aside from just the outright mobility boost, it immediately sets the Crusader up to deal a burst of damage and disables against a target.
An extra 10% damage for only a few seconds might not seem like a long time, but it’s plenty enough to get an entire round of skills off. Think of all the times that enemies barely live from such an attack. The Faith Ascent puts a stop to that.

5Barbed Council - PvE - Shoulders

The Barbed Council was designed for PvE. The slow and stun won’t work on bosses anyhow, and the other minions will not survive the initial burst. Getting rid of the debuffs while sucking enemies in and killing them faster is a no-brainer.
The Crusader isn’tthe easiest class to play. It requires smart, timely skill usage and a build that synergizes each ability. Shortening the timer on Judgment detonations enables better combinations against groups of opponents and bosses.

4Iron Suzerain - PvP - Chest
When the Crusader comes flying into the fracas, casters are naturally going to try and run away. If they can’t run before they’re grabbed by Draw and Quarter, they certainly will try to split afterward. The Iron Suzerain makes escape an impossibility.
Condemn will snag fleeing units and bring them toward the Crusader. For the squishy units in PvP, this can be a death sentence. The developers havea full host of problems to fix in the game, hopefully they don’t find out how overpowered this is.

3Besieger - PvE - Chest
For those new to the franchise, Bombardment was a skill that gave the Crusader almost unlimited rifting ability. Seeing that it was removed from the core skills is not surprising; some things have to be done for the sake of balance. But the Besieger brings back the classic move.
Aside fromleveling up quicklyby killing groups of enemies on the run, the Bombardment stacks nicely with other damaging effects the Crusader puts down. With a mix of damage over time and this big burst, no unit will put up a memorable fight.

2Squire’s Trews - PvP - Legs
The Crusader is already at the top ofthe class tier listfor many reasons. A player that understands how to use the Squire’s Trews well will have to create a tier above the S-rank. They can grab an ally, then charge behind enemy lines and gang up on the forces trying to avoid confrontation.
That’s not the end of the advantages, however. When a teammate is in trouble, the Crusader can pick them up and carry them to safety. There is no possible way to be a better friend and teammate.

1Bladed Jambeau - PvE - Legs
In PvE, the bosses can’t be snagged by Draw and Quarter while lesser minions can be dragged, but won’t survive very long. To keep this move relevant, drop the dragging and increase the damage with the Bladed Jambeau.
Atmax-level, these leggings will allow the Crusader to run around and personally build a hazard zone. This stacks right on top of other hazards the Crusader puts down, stacking damage and making an area where enemies are doomed.
