Summary
Xur has returned again toDestiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. Another week and another set ofSeason 23 details have been revealed by Bungie. While the storyline and theme will remain a mystery up until its launch, Bungie has been more than forthcoming with changes and tweaks to the sandbox, including some big reveals like Legendary Shards being removed entirely. Naturally, this is going to force some tweaks to the in-game economy considering how often these resourcs are needed in things like gear focusing or purchasing certain items from vendors.
Alongside that, this week Bungie revealed how Banshee-44, theTower Gunsmith is getting overhauled in Season 23. Instead of rotating new weapons to purchase, players will instead be able to focus specific weapons from various weapon foundries. Starting with Season 23, four Destiny 2 weapon foundries, Omolon, Suros, Hakke, and Veist, will rotate in each day, giving players a chance to focus weapons last seen a full four seasons ago from 16-19. New foundries and weapons will continue to be added over time, giving players a wider variety to work with.

For now though, the exotic merchant Xur is making another appearance insideDestiny 2over the next few days. Follow this guide for his most current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he’s brought for the weekend of June 10, 2025.

Where is Xur?
Destiny 2players should head to the EDZ and the Winding Cove fast travel spot to find Xur this weekend.
Fast travel to the Winding Cove zone and immediately head towards the back where the Fallen typically patrol. Climb the cliffs back here to find Xur standing on a ledge not too far from a crashed ship.

Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur continues to sell even more gear outside his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer.

Astrocyte Verse - Warlock helmet
Exotic Perk:
Move to Survive - Blink further and more frequently. Weapon readies quickly out of Blink and radar remains up. Provides a moderate benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.
While it is a unique looking helmet, Astrocyte isn’t going to be for everyone as it really only enhances Blink jumps. For players that don’t use it, this gear is entirely worthless, and even still, there are way better exotic options available for Warlocks.

Aeon Swift - Hunter gauntlets
Sect of Force/Vigor/Insight - Swappable perks that change based on which one is active.
Originally considered some of the worst exotics in the game, theAeon Cult set received a complete overhaul a couple of years agowhich made them at least usable with swappable perks. While they’re much improved to where they were originally, the Aeon Swift is still not a must-have item and won’t replace any of the current hot exotics, so players can certainly skip this.

Ursa Furiosa - Titan gauntlets
Ursine Guard - Move faster while guarding when Sentinel Shield is active. Guarded damage converts to Super energy when the Super ends.
Obviously very specific for Sentinel Shield supers, Ursa Furiosa is a solid choice to quickly regenerating super energy. While it used to be much stronger, it remains a solid choice for Void Titans especially with a great stat roll this weekend.

Stat Values (68 total):
Exotic Weapon
The fan favorite fusion rifle Telesto is in stock with Xur this weekend. As many know, this weapon has had a very interesting history and is responsible forbreaking many parts of the game in the favor of players. This includes, but isn’t limited to, helping players cheese the Blind Well event, trigger certain buffs/benefits for players, giving free special ammo in large quantities, and much more. Because of these glitches, the gun has become very player friendly and likely a massive headache for Bungie.
The intrinsic perk is called Unplanned Reprieve which causes fusion projectiles to attach and detonate with a delayed void blast. It’s also paired with the Harbinger’s Pulse perk which instantly reloads equipped primary and energy weapons after multi-kills with the Telesto. Naturally, it’s a great PvE weapon as its sticky explosives cover a wide area and can clear adds very fast. Not only that, it’s a solid PvP weapon as well, though it really shines once the Masterwork catalyst has been applied to increase the ammo reserves.

Hawkmoon Rolls
At this point,Xur is only selling Hawkmoon with randomized rolls, but its time is limited once Harbinger is ultimately added to the Exotic Mission Rotator and makes the hand cannon craftable. Either way, here is the roll Xur has this weekend:
