Summary
Xur has returned again toDestiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time.Season of the Wish, what many fans believe to be the last season forDestiny 2in general, has finally arrived. The defeated Ahamkara Riven has once again returned as the Vanguard attempts to utilize the once lost 15th wish to track down The Witness inside The Traveler.
While the dawn of a new season always seems to reinvigorate the player base, Season 23 was met withcontroversy after Bungie released a Starter Pack. Costing $15, the pack included 3 exotic weapons that most wouldn’t say were in meta, a ghost shell, sparrow, ship, and a bunch of resources. The high price and the lackluster options set off a firestorm of frustration and pushback from the community, ultimately leading to Bungie acknowledging the feedback and removing theDestiny 2bundle entirely.
For now though, Xur is back again with a whole selection of exotics and legendaries forDestiny 2players over the next few days. Follow this guide for his most current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he’s brought for the weekend of June 05, 2025.
Where is Xur?
Over the next few days, players can head to the Water’s Grave on Nessus to find Xur.
Use the fast travel spot at Watcher’s Grave and hop on a sparrow to find the massive tree. Climb the branches to find Xur hanging out in the tree.
Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur continues to sell even more gear outside his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer.

Exotic Perk:
Conduction Tines - Arc ability or jolt final blows increase the recharge rate of your Arc abilities and extend the duration of Stormtrance.
The roll is quite good this week on an exotic item that has a ton of value for Stormcaller Warlocks. Worth a purchase.
Wormhusk Crown - Hunter helmet
Burning Souls - Dodging gives a small health and shield bump.
While not as powerful as it once was, the roll this week is ridiculous with a massive Mobility boost of 27 and an overall roll of 70. At the very least, this is worth picking up to replace other rolls.
Aeon Safe - Titan gauntlets
The Aeon Cult set has never been a must-have, though after anotherbig revision from Bungie in Season 23, these could be worth a look especially with a total stat roll of 66.

Exotic Weapon
At one time, the Prometheus Lens was wildly overpowered, leading to a chaotic weekend the community dubbed as Laser Tag in the Crucible. Currently, this trace rifle likely isn’t a common pick or on the top of any player exotic tier lists. It’s not a bad weapon, but likely one that isn’t going to replace any of the currently sought after and powerful weapons.
Prismatic Inferno allows the weapon’s solar beam to grow a heat field as it hits a target, with sustained damage applying scorch to the enemy. This combines with Flame Refraction, which returns a fraction of ammo from reserves after a kill, extending the solar beams durration.

Hawkmoon Rolls
At this point,Xur is only selling Hawkmoon with randomized rolls, but its time is limited once Harbinger is ultimately added to the Exotic Mission Rotator and makes the hand cannon craftable. Either way, here is the roll Xur has this weekend:
