Destinydeveloper Bungie is not one to shy away from an opportunity to tease new content. Whether it’s upcoming story missions, an exotic quest, or something as large as theBeyond Light expansion, fans can expect that the studio will have something planned.
It should come as no surprise, then, that theDestiny 2community is in the midst of trying to decode an ARG spurned on by a video message from Bungie. Players believe that there are numerous secrets to be found within the message, and some even believe they could offer clues towards the new raid.

TheDestiny 2tweet includes a message that references the idea of putting a human mind into a mechanical body. And the video included with the message shows some of the locations that are seemingly part of theDeep Stone Crypt beneath Europa. Check it out below:
Even before this message appeared,Destiny 2players have been theorizing that the upcoming Beyond Light expansion could see the creation of some sort of EXO villain. One popular theory believes thatEramis, the Fallen leaderthat is seemingly the “big bad” of Beyond Light wants to put its consciousness inside of an EXO body. Others think that this could be the first hint that players will learn more about the EXOs and how they came to be.
Whatever the case may be, the teaser does offer some interesting clues. Players are even taking things further by trying to decode flashing messages and looking on Bungie’s site for more lore or details. TheRaid Secrets subredditis filled with community members sharing and then compiling data to see if there is anything tangible to learn.
If the clues do lead to details about the raid, they likely will be focused on the storyline surrounding the endgame content and not anything about the actual encounters. Bungie tends to keep things as secret as possible when it comes to its raids – only revealing smaller pieces of information to tease fans rather than clue them into how to prepare. Deep Stone Crypt should be no different, although players do think they havediscovered the raid armor.
With only a few days left until the launch of Beyond Light, and even fewer days to spend inDestiny 2because of the upcoming 24-hour maintenance, players don’t have much longer to decode the clues. Not to mention, there is a small end of season event planned that could go live sometime later today.
