While it has become common for gamers of all skill levels to share some of their most ambitious feats across social media, some still manage to stand out as particularly impressive moments. A recent clip from aDestiny 2player shows both incredible skill and a bit of luck while in theGambit PVPVE game mode, as the player’s team manages to pull off an impressive victory.

Posted to theDestiny 2subreddit by user GlitchBot69, the video goes through the final moments of a Gambit round where the players have only seconds before the other team wins. The showcase of gunfire and abilities is impressive on the part of the players, but it also highlights an issue that fans of the Gambit game mode have had to deal with for quite some time.

In the clip, it is clear that GlitchBot69 and their team are about to lose, because the other team has already summoned their Primeval, the final boss of the round, and has burned its health down to one last chunk. However, in a last ditch effort, Glitch’s team manages to summon their own Primeval and melt it in seconds, winning the match before the other team can land that last little chunk of damage. Adding insult to injury, it appeared that one of the players also used theDestiny 2invasion systembuilt specifically for Gambit to kill one of the enemy fighters.

Altogether, the Primeval was only out on Glitch’s side for a total of nine seconds before it was immediately killed by the three remaining players on the team. Since killing the Primeval ends the round and gives victory to the team that scores the final hit, players have been using strategies like this one tomeltDestiny 2bossesas quickly as possible. This doesn’t necessarily take away from how impressive the clutch victory in the clip is, but having the ability to end what should be a long, drawn out boss fight so quickly has had some negative effects on Gambit.

Regardless, a lot of elements had to come together perfectly in order to make sure that Glitch’s team was able to take out their Primeval and land the win in the end. The other players fumbled right at the end of their own boss fight, a player managed to kill someone on the other team, and Glitch pulled off an impressive melting combo to bring down the boss. However, it is still a mixed bag for players that it is even possible forDestiny 2playersto melt a Primeval as quickly as they do in the clip.

Destiny 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
