The Singularity: Power Explained
The Singularity is a Killer without any special attack, meaning he must rely entirely on hitting Survivors with his basic attack. To offset his inability todamage Survivorsany other way, The Singularity’s power revolves entirely around pressuring Survivors in other ways.
Firstly, The Singularity canlaunch Biopods at any vertical, stationary surface. These pods are used to observe locations from afar and, when a Survivor is within line-of-sight, can be fired from to tag a Survivor with a Temporal Slipstream.

When infected with the Temporal Slipstream, Survivors are vulnerable to The Singularity’s Quantum Instantiation power. When shot at or targeted through a Biopod, the Singularity canimmediately teleport to theseinfected Survivors, placing the killer just a few meters from them and triggering his Overclock Mode.
After teleporting, Overclock Mode allows The Singularity tobreak pallets and vault windows much fasterfor a few short seconds. Any attempt to stun him will result in the pallet immediately breaking, slowing – but not stopping – The Singularity’s onslaught.

Survivors can use EMPs scattered around the map to cure themselves and each other of the Temporal Slipstream, as well as using them todeactivate nearby Biopodsfor a long period of time.
The Singularity: How to Play
At the beginning of the game, establish a web of Biopods guarding generators that Survivors are working on, trapping them and nearby loops to ensure The Singularity has eyes across the map. Try to place these podsat high vantage pointsoverlooking large areas, covering a large section of the map. At loops, place multiple Biopodscovering a variety of anglesto ensure Survivors can’t escape the Killer’s gaze.Placing Biopods at generatorsand EMP boxes can also help keep track of Survivor movements. Afterhooking a Survivor, place a Biopod nearby to help tag Survivors who go in for a save. Finally, during the endgame, guarding gates with Biopods can also prove effective.
Using these Biopods, survey the generators and infect anyone working on them, beginning a chase with an infected Survivor. If a Survivor, particularly one at full health, isn’t infected when a chase begins, the player’s top priority should beinfecting them mid-chase. Do this by setting up cameras in loops ahead of the Survivor and tagging them.

Once in chase with a tagged Survivor, shoot directly at them or tag them with a camera a second time to teleport behind them and enter Overclock Mode. This is best done to gain distance after a Survivor is injured, or they use anExhaustion perk. Overclock Mode can also be used to effectively break loops, forcing Survivors to waste pallets or face a quick down.
Survivors will often carry EMPs to disable the Biopods and cure themselves of the Temporal Slipstream. As such, it’s important tocommit to a chase once a Survivor is infectedand to typically avoid chasing Survivors who begin a chase carrying an EMP, as using them mid-chase can waste much of the Killer’s time.
Maintaining these strategies throughout a trial, The Singularity should find they always have at least one Survivor infected at a time, meaningSurvivors are always being pressuredaway from generators and chases remain short.
