Or villains, should they decide to walk a different path. Some of the strongest DC children are to be expected while others might come as a surprise. Despite their different sets of powers, they all have one thing in common - they’re powerful enough to present a force to be reckoned with.

5Naomi McDuffie

As one of the newest DC superheroes, what with her first comic book appearance dating only back to 2019, Naomi remains a bit of a mystery. What’s known is that she has a similar origin story to a much better-known hero, Superman himself. Naomi was sent to Earth and gradually discovered her powers. These include super speed, strength, durability, and stamina. Naomi can also absorb energy, send out energy blasts, and fly, and she has accelerated healing, among others.

Her strength index is in the 10 thousand tons and more category, and she can break the speed of light. Those DC fans who don’t read comic books but would like to learn more about Naomi, her previous life, and what she can do, can watch the 2022 TV series titledNaomi. The show was canceled after one seasonand has only 13 episodes in total, which makes it easy to binge-watch it fast on HBO Max.

4Conner Kent

When somebody’s related to Superman, it’s not surprising to learn they also possess great powers. Conner Kent had an interesting start in life as he’s a Superman clone. As such, Superboy, as Conner’s called, has a wide array of powers at his disposal. He possesses superhuman strength, speed, durability, agility, and reflexes. He has a heat vision he can use against his enemies. He heals fast and can fly just like Superman. Overall, Superboy and Superman are very similar in their respective powers.

The only major difference is that Conner doesn’t have the same life experience as Clark Kent. But as he ages, he could one day become just as powerful as his ‘father’ - especially considering that one of Conner’s powers is also the fact he’s a genius. Conner has appeared in a live-action TV series as well, more specificallyTitans, where he joins the titular teamand strikes a friendship with Beast Boy.

3M’Gann M’orzz

One of the lesser-known young heroes is Miss Martian. She has powers typical for her people and also their greatest weakness - she’s vulnerable to fire. The good news for Miss Martian is that her other powers more than make up for this one weakness. She has enhanced senses, is capable of flying, can make herself invisible or shapeshift, she has mind control and telepathic powers, and if that wasn’t enough, she’s also superhumanly strong and fast, like many of the more powerful superheroes are.

M’Gann M’orzz is significantly stronger than Connor Kent and won a majority of fights between the two.The same goes for her fights with Starfire. Just like with Raven, Miss Martian’s strength level changes depending on the source material but what remains the same is that she’s one of the strongest young DC superheroes.

2Rachel Roth

Rachel, aka Raven, is a good example that physical strength isn’t everything when it comes to being a superhero. Depending on the source material and the level of her powers, Rachel’s strength level fluctuates from 100+ tons to more than 800 thousand tons when she’s at her full power. However,Raven’s greatest strength is her magic. It lends her a large selection of powers, from telekinesis to astral projection and teleportation. As the daughter of the demon Trigon, Raven was able to fight him and trap him which speaks volumes about her power. She was easily able to overcome Starfire, even though Starfire is older than Raven.

But the biggest proof that Raven is such a strong superhero is her victories against Superman. As such, Raven has the same problem in TV and movie adaptations that other superheroes do. The creators often have to decrease her power because if she was as strong as she can be, she might manage to solve the whole problem very fast on her own and there would be no need for the rest of the Titans!

1Billy Batson

Technically, one of the strongest children in the DC universe is also one of the strongest adult superheroes. That only proves how special Billy Batson is since he can be both. Billy is a child but when he says the word ‘Shazam!’, he changes into an adult superhero.Shazam is almost as powerful as Superman, the only thing he lacks is Superman’s experience, and even that could change over time. When these two fought, Shazam was able to win in 45 percent of the cases. And he successfully defeated Wonder Woman the majority of the time they stood against each other.

Like many superheroes, Shazam has accelerated healing. He’s able to manipulate energy and send out energy blasts and beams. He can fly, has superhuman speed, stamina, strength, and reflexes, and, of course, he can transform back to Billy which helped throw his enemies off his trail more than once. Shazam’s strength level is incalculable, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that he became one of the members of the Justice League, the most powerful DC superhero team.
