Improver won the title of Russian Beatbox Battle Champion in 2019 and is known for his expert replication of synthetic music. As seen in trailers forCyberpunk, the game will feature electronic music to complement its futuristic dystopian aesthetic. And this genre of music falls perfectly in line with Improver’s skill set, making for an imposing cover, showing just how he earned the Champion title.
Cyberpunk’s universe is overrun by cybercriminals.2077, like all other games in the franchise, will be set in Night City, overseen by megacorporations who control the city down to even the internet. Life in the megacity is determined by the wage gap, pushing the impoverished into the consequent violence and homelessness. Because of the constant threat of violence, citizens are allowed to carry firearms in public.
While players control the mercenary called V, one such gang players will come across is The Mox. The Mox is currently controlled bypremiere braindance technician Judy Alvarez, and they describe themselves as “those who protect working girls and guys” from violence and abuse. Glimpses of characters from The Mox are seen in gameplay demos and trailers detailing the prologue ofCyberpunk 2077’s story, meaning that players should come across The Mox early on in their journey as V and will hold critical information for missions.
Cyberpunkis slated to release November 19th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X versions to follow.
