Now that the nextMass Effectgame has been confirmed and is expected to return to the original storyline in a way thatAndromedadidn’t, people are getting excited about what they’ll eventually see in the new game. Among thequestions surroundingMass Effect 4is whether Commander Shepard might be back and now one of the people that brought the character to life is talking about the possibility.
Commander Shepard is one of the most beloved characters in science-fiction video game history. With the character being the protagonist in the franchise’s original trilogy, people are now wondering if the character might be making a return inMass Effect 4. There are actually two actors for Commander Shepard since theMass Effectgames allow users to choose between the hero appearing as male or female. One of those actors, Jennifer Hale, recently addressed if she plans on returning to the series and voicing the incredibly popular character one more time.

Appearing at the British Academy Games Awards, Hale was asked by a fan about possible plans regardingreturning to theMass Effectfranchiseas Shepherd one more time. The question was initially greeted with a laugh from the actor, and then she responded that it was up to the fans as to whether or not she might eventually return.
The actress added that if fans want her to return to theiconicMass Effectrolethey should let BioWare know their feelings. “I would love it and I think Mark would too,” she explained.
Unfortunately for those who were hoping that Hale would give a more direct answer, that was the extent of what she was willing to say. There are obvious hints that can be taken from her response. At first blush, it sounds like neither she nor Mark Meer have been asked to reprise their roles just yet. There is also a chance that she’s simply pulling off a bit of a misdirect because she doesn’t want to spill the beans on information that BioWare and EA don’t want out there yet.
Of course, there are a bunch of different questions as well as some very realconcerns voiced by fans overMass Effect 4. Hopefully BioWare provides some specific answers about the next game in the series in the not too distant future.
