With theCODZombies franchise returning inBlack Ops6,many fans are eager to see what awaits them in terms of maps, stories, wonder weapons, and of course, characters. It was hard to beat the Ultimis and Primis crew that featured across theBlack OpsZombies titles, and there are many previous characters seen within the games that could make for a triumphant return so that players can slay zombies as their favorites.
These characters all have something to do withtheCODZombies story, and to see them return for one last hoorah, or even as just a skin to use for nostalgia’s sake, would be great indeed. Whilst sticking with Call of Duty characters as opposed to collabs, the potential is high for these characters to return in some capacity.

6Edward Richtofen (Primis)
A Man Committed To Doing The Right Thing, No matter The Cost
The end of the Primis storyline was one that sawmany fans displeased. Each character was killed unfairly and unjustly for the sake of a reboot that hasn’t exactly gone anywhere since. Edward Richtofen is easily the face ofCODZombies, and the Primis version of the character has been fleshed out across variousCODZombie titles. This is a character that may be dead, but Richtofen always finds a way to come back.
With the return of the Primis variant of Edward Richtofen, there may be hope yet for the storyline, and it’s always nice to hear the German sass, intellect, and charm provided by Nolan North’s performance of the enigmatic man who has caused so much pain to secure a better future for the multiverse.

5Samuel Stuhlinger
A Member Of Victis With Richtofen’s Voice In His Head
When the world fell due to the actions of Richtofen on the Moon, Samuel Stuhlinger was left in desperation to consume the flesh of the dead. Stuhlinger’s frantic paranoia make him a highly interest character, especially when he hears thevoices of the deadin his own mind, further fracturing the line of sanity in his zombie-killing life.
Stuhlinger and the rest of the Victis crew were brutally left for dead, trapped within the Dark Aether. Stuhlinger may still be alive. Deceived and full of rage, desperate for a way out, there is definitely room for Stuhlinger to return to the story.

4John F. Kennedy
The 35th President Of The United States Of America
Whilst John F. Kennedy may be a very real figure with a very real tragedy, it hasn’t stopped him from being an important character in Call of Duty’s story and the Zombies content. Jumping into the map Five as JFK, Nixon, and Castro was exciting and weird, providing a sense of fun thatCODZombies truly can benefit from in the new era.
JFK should definitely come back, as who wouldn’t want toplay as a U.S. Presidentwho kills zombies for a living? It could add a great sense of fun, especially with his voice lines and familiarity with government secrets and Alex Mason.

3Alex Mason
A CIA Operative Back From The Dead
Alex Mason may have been the protagonist of Call of Duty:Black Ops, but it seems that his time in the sun has ended, and he will remain dead forBlack Ops6. It’s a shame to get rid of one of the most iconic Call of Duty protagonists, so why notbring him backto a world where he can remain undead with the Zombies content?
It would be great to see the no-nonsense Alex Mason in Zombies since he might view this realm as dwindling sanity from the experiments he was subjected to to brainwash him. Alex Mason would make for a brilliant protagonist in Zombies, desperately trying to come back to life alongside Woods.

2Viktor Reznov
A Hero Of Berlin, Turned Betrayed Prisoner
Viktor Reznov was a heroic leader of the Soviet’s Red Army, leading the charge to Berlin inWorld at War. Yet, history was not kind to Reznov, and he was betrayed and tortured, thrown into a prison where he would be forgotten as a pile of bones. Whilst Reznov may have lived in the memory of Alex Mason, his bodydeserves a second chance.
What better second chance than to fight the dead? Reznov would be an exceptional character inCODZombies, with how rousing speeches, grandiose shouting, and battle prowess. Not to mention, a return of Gary Oldman would make Reznov a fitting character for the franchise.

1Nero Blackstone
A Frantic Magician Who Craves Fame
The start ofBlack Ops3’s Zombiesstoryline saw a new beginning, with different characters taking the stage. Enter Morg City, where everyone has dark secrets that they want to keep hidden. Nero Blackstone is one of them, and his fame as a magician is dwindling, causing him to seek wealth through other means.
Nero’s secrets and dark past should be explored further than just as a cameo from the iconic Jeff Goldblum. His lines are funny and witty, and this is a character that could be further fleshed out outside of Apothicons, as a team of Zombie slayers could always use a magician who has an affinity for the occult.
