While it may not quite be on par of fellow battle royale titleFortnite, Activision has also been dabbling with new crossover events and cosmetics for its own hit title,Call of Duty: Warzone. As a live service experience,Warzoneis constantly changing and evolving around its gameplay loop, ranging from constant updates, new game modes, playable operators, maps, and cosmetic items. Over the past few seasons,Activision has also increased the number of crossoversas well.
So far,Warzonehas seen a wide variety of franchises and IPs come to the shooter from operator cosmetics like Snoop Dogg, John McClane fromDie Hard, as well as Rambo. In fact, last season saw the Monsterverse come toWarzonethrough a new in-game event where King Kong rampaged around the Pacific map while Godzilla struck from the coastline. During this event, players could even pick up operator skins of the aforementioned monsters as well as one for Mechagodzilla as well. Now, it appears Activision is looking towards the next major event and has seemingly partnered with Netflix to make it happen.

The leak has left many fans a bit perplexed, though this isn’t the firstWarzonecrossover that was more of a surprise asAttack on Titanfeatured a couple of operator skins which weren’t received too highly by fans. Still, theNetflix showUmbrella Academyremains incredibly popularand relevant as Season 3 launched this past June.
