Players inCall of Duty: Warzonehave found several ways to deal with the constant cheaters and the built-in skill-based matchmaking function. Although it is not a permanent solution, some players have found a way to bypass all the problems and get to the core of the game.Warzonefans everywhere have been upset about the growing number of hackers within the game’s community and the competitive infrastructure of skill-based matchmaking as a whole.
The solution is rather simple and has to do withhow skill based matchmaking works inModern Warfare. Jackfrags did an entire video covering this weird reaction, as well as looking deeper into why it actually works.Warzonefans might not be permanently free of all the problems, but at least now they can taste what the game could have been if things worked a tad bit differently.

The solution that many fans have come up with is creating a fake second account. This account will have roughly seven games beforeskill-based matchmakingkicks in, allowing players a free and open lobby to enjoy. Due to the fact that hackers and cheaters have such high kill counts, they will automatically be sorted into higher tier lobbies. By playing in lower-tier lobbies through a newly activated account, players can have a limited section of time without having to worry about hackers, SBMM, or any other similar issues.
It is ridiculous that players have to resort to account spamming to escapeskill-based matchmaking and hackers. The fact that players are forming a workaround shows a greater flaw in the game’s matchmaking itself. Jackfrag’s video shows the lackluster experience that new accounts are playing through, and the lack of challenge effects the overall game experience.
When looking at leaderboards it can become fairly clear who is cheating atWarzone. The number of kills per account, KDs in the hundreds, and so many other red flags appear even by glancing at the leaderboard. With hackers dominating the top of the leaderboard there is a higher chance that skill based matchmaking will put top tier players in unwinnable lobbies.
While fans wait forActivision to fulfill its promiseof taking hacking problems seriously, they will continue to flood new accounts into the game. A few matches without having to worry about aimbots, SBMM, and all the other issues inWarzoneis worth the trouble of creating new accounts.
