Call of Duty: Warzone’s latest update is a whopping 30GB, and while some fans may be annoyed by that, it did at least add plenty of exciting new content to the battle royale. The biggest news is that theCall of Duty: Warzonebunker doors are now open, with one bunker in particular causing quite the stir among fans.

OpeningBunker 11 inCall of Duty: Warzoneis a multi-step process, whereas opening the other bunkers in the game merely require a keycard. Once players manage to get inside Bunker 11, they will find a nuclear warhead, and while that could just be for decoration, in actuality, it will supposedly be what triggers a major map change. This is according to VGC, citing sources close toWarzone, though details on how the map will change exactly have not been revealed.

It’s possible that the potential nuclear explosion inCall of Duty: Warzonewill have something to do with theBlack Ops Cold Warteasesthat fans think will be happening in the game. For the uninitiated, there is evidence to suggest that Activision will be utilizingWarzoneto revealBlack Ops Cold War, the rumored title of the upcomingCall of Duty 2020.

Not only have leakers said thatCall of Duty: Warzonewill be used to tease and revealBlack Ops Cold War, but there is some datamined evidence that points in that direction as well. Dataminers dug through the most recentCall of Duty: Warzoneupdate andfound files referencing RC-XD, a killstreak from the originalCall of Duty: Black Ops, as well as a Cold War-era spy plane. While it’s certainly possible Activision will go in a different direction, all signs are pointing to these leaks and rumors being correct.

WhileCall of Duty: Warzonemay have launched as part ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, it makes sense for Activision to use it to promote the next game in its long-running series. For one,Call of Duty: Warzoneis immensely popular, and so this is a great way to advertise the game. And secondly,Infinity Ward has said thatCall of Duty: Warzonewill be a constant, even as newCall of Dutygames are launched, so that means it will one day be a part ofCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Waras well.

Activision usually reveals newCall of Dutygames in May or June every year, so an official reveal of therumoredCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warshould come sooner rather than later.
