As with his previous guides, Reddit user NotMegatron has condensed their experiment to a single graphic making it easy to view. The goal was to answer three main questions: what are the actual values of each attachment, what happens if attachments are stacked, and how accurate can he get his formula.
By testing each of the attachments individually, NotMegatron was able to record the pixel different in each and derive a percentage of change from the default gun. By testing different attachments the fan was able to determine thebest assault loadoutfor the CR-56 AMAX that reduces recoil.
The test revealed that the Compensator Muzzle had the biggest impact on the recoil of the AMAX reducing it by 20%. The FSS 8.3'' Intruder barrel had the most negative effect by increasing recoil an additional 17%. After some combination and testing, NotMegatron found that equipping the Compensator, Ranger Foregrip, XRK Zodiac S440, XRK CR-56 Rubberized, and Scout Combat Optic to the Cr-56 AMAX resulted in a 53% reduction of weapon recoil. This attachment combination makes for thebest possible loadoutfor the XR-56 AMAX when it comes to reducing weapon recoil.
The Reddit user found that their math theory ended up being 93-99.9% accurate in most cases.
