WhileThe Haunting contentforCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarZombies includes loot-filled pumpkin heads and scare packages that will be active for the next few weeks, there is also a creepy easter egg that will remain in Forsaken permanently. Finding The Casette Tape And Playing Simon Says

The first thing players will want to do is head to the video store next to the arcade. In this area, which contains Mule Kick and a piece ofSeason 6 intel, a mannequin can be seen at the back of the shop. Easily recognizable due to its pink shirt, players will want to look at the wall to the left of the shelf the mannequin is staring at. A cassette tape can be seen between the shelf and a beam, which players need to loosen with a grenade. They can then go prone and pick up the tape.

Once this is done, players want to head over to the TV Store where they completed the RC-XD step of theForsaken main quest. If they step behind the counter, they can place the tape inside a VCR. Four screens will then turn on, beginning a game of Simon Says. There will be an orange, red, green, and blue screen, and players will need to shoot them in the order they appeared. Players will have to complete three phases of the game, with each sequence adding four TVs to memorize. Considering that players need to memorize 12 TVs in the final phase, pausing and jotting down the order could be worthwhile (NOTE: If players fail, they can interact with the VCR again to get a fresh sequence).

Defeating The Ghost In Forsaken

OnceCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayershave shot the 12 TVs in the right order, their screen will go black and white. A ghost will then appear, stalking them as they move across the map. Boasting some red eyes, it will follow players for several seconds, killing them instantly if it touches their body. The ghost will disappear and reappear constantly, with players needing to kill the specter to make it stop. To do this, they will want to purchase the Tombstone perk and head to The Amplifier area of the map.

With Tombstone equipped, players will want to down themselves and head into the ghost mode provided by the perk. Instead of reviving themselves, they will want to walk over to the Particle Accelerator - the room whereForsaken’s Chrysalax side questis finished. On top of the Accelerator, the ghost will be seen, and players can damage it now that they are in an ethereal state. They will want to shoot the ghost with red eyes repeatedly, ignoring the copies it makes once injured. After the red-eyed ghost has been shot a few times, it will die, and players can revive themselves. Once they do, they will drink a Perkaholic, getting every perk in the map free of charge. With this easter egg able to be started very early, it is worth doing in every match so that players can save points.
