Gene is a creative child that loves comedy and music. He’s also not shy about eating. The best episodes that focus on him highlight these talents to a wonderful degree. The following are just a few fan-favorite episodes.

8Torpedo

“Torpedo” is not the most Gene-focused episode ofBob’s Burgers. However, he does learn a valuable life lesson from the whole experience. The Belchers go to a ball game one day wherein Bob meets his hero, a baseball player nicknamed Torpedo.

Gene also gets starstruck as he sees a bunch of mascots running a race. Gene decides he wants to represent the family restaurant in a race of his own. The core theme of the episode is about cheating and whether or not it’s okay even for the greater good.

7The Frond Files

“The Frond Files” has Mr. Frond bring inLinda and Bobfor a parent-teacher conference. Mr. Frond presents the children’s school reports and thinks they were being too mean to him in them. All three are based on popular movies.

Gene’s, for example, is a parody ofRock ‘n’ Roll High Schoolwhich sees Gene rock out to “The Fart Song” in both the dream sequence and the credits finale. It’s quite catchy. Louise’s report is based onThe Terminatorwhile Tina’s is based loosely onNight of the Living Dead. It’s a good episode for all three kids.

5Beefsquatch

“Beefsquatch” is a good episode for both Gene and Bob. When Linda sees the local news advertising a cooking segment, she encourages Bob to audition for it. Bob gets in but only because Gene was in the video as well.

Gene creates the character of Beefsquatch to come in while Bob is trying to explain his recipes. When Gene thinks the audience is falling asleep, he’ll make a joke, eat the burgers, and the audience will go nuts. EvenTeddy and Mortget excited in the remote audience. Bob wants to passionately teach people how to cook, so the episode sees the two of them at odds with one another.

4Spaghetti Western And Meatballs

“Spaghetti Western and Meatballs” is a good play on words for the theme of this episode ofBob’s Burgers. It begins with Louise and Bob watching their usual bad TV together before an old spaghetti Western pops on, Banjo. Louise doesn’t like it but Gene does so the two of them start bonding.

Louise also loses Gene at school as the movie series teaches Gene how to stand up for himself. The meatballs come into play because Bob is also tasked with making spaghetti and meatballsfor Tina’s conflictresolution program. All plot lines tie nicely in with one another.
