Summary
Assassin’s Creed Mirageseeks to return to the series' roots with a focus on stealth combat and a story largely centered around the Assassin’s Bureaus of medieval Baghdad. In addition to a smaller map and a shorter story, the game also features a considerably more limited arsenal of weapons relative to recent entries, with most weapons acting in sets of swords and daggers which work to boost the effects of one another when wielded together.
New weapons can be acquired in several different ways, but the majority are obtained either throughunlocking Gear Cheststhroughout the game world, or completing story missions. While the effectiveness of each weapon will largely depend on each individual’s playstyle, some weapons are certainly more favorable than others and possess more powerful effects.

10Hidden One Dagger
The Hidden One Dagger is the first of the available items in a set acquired by completing Nehal’s mission in the Northern Wilderness. Having discovered the oasis in the desert, players must dive underwater to access the hidden cave. Inside, various weapons will be shielded by protective mechanisms, which can be unlockedby obtaining Mysterious Shardsin the game world.
The dagger itself is very effective for finishing enemies off since enemies killed by the Hidden One Dagger will create a poison cloud that will damage other nearby enemies. This is best used in conjunction with the Hidden One Sword, which will apply the poison effect to enemies.

9Hidden One Sword
The Hidden One Sword is similarly acquired by completing the cave challenge for Nehal in the Northern Wilderness. The sword will deal 46 Damage while defending 78 Damage with each parry. Every fifth hit of the Hidden One Sword will poison the enemy, making it particularly deadly when combined with the powers of the Hidden One Dagger.
This ability to poison multiple foes at once can be especially useful when facing large numbers of enemies, and can also be a very effective method for weakening armored enemies. On its own, the sword is relatively weak but still possesses its poisoning abilities.

8Initiate Of Alamut Dagger
The Initiate of Alamut Dagger is a very useful early-game weapon that is gifted to Basim by Rebekah once he has reached the rank of Novice during the game’s main prologue. There are no special requirements to unlock the dagger or its counterpart sword since it will beacquired during a cutscene.
While the dagger’s base stats might not seem too impressive, its special ability makes up for it. With each parry, enemies will suffer +25 Defensive Damage and be left open for a finishing strike. This is particularly useful since the parry will be one of the most common defensive moves during combat.

7Initiate Of Alamut Sword
The Initiate of Alamut Dagger is similarly given to Basim upon the completion of the mission “A New Beginning.” Rebekah crafts the sword along with the dagger for Basim at the order of Roshan. The Sword has reasonable base statistics of 50 Damage and 50 Defensive Damage.
Like its fellow dagger, the Initiate of Alamut Sword excels with its special ability. The sword will grant Basim +50% Damage for an attack following a successful parry. This damage bonus can also be further enhanced through the use of Upgrade Schematics for the sword.

6Abbasid Knight Dagger
The Abbasid Knight Dagger is a traditional weapon that is particularly useful for Basim when faced with groups or larger opponents. The Dagger is actually primarily a defensive tool and will grant Basim 30% Damage Resistance when his health is below 50%.
The dagger and its upgrade schematics can be acquired bylooting gear chests around Karkh. The chests are located in Qasr Salih, The Great Garrison, and The Grand Bazaar. It may be difficult to acquire all of these chests until the main story missions in the Karkh Bureau have been completed.

5Abbasid Knight Sword
The Abbasid Knight Sword is the classic weapon of the Abbasid Caliphate. Like many other sword and dagger sets, the Abbasid Knight Sword works best in tandem with its partner dagger, which will maximize the effects of both weapons.
The sword will grant Basim +30% Light Attack Damage when his health falls below 50%. This can be especially useful for finishing off lesser enemies, or when facing Brutes since conventional parrying will not always work against them.

4Dagger Of Time
The Dagger of Time is a unique dagger exclusively available to players who purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game. The weapon has a unique ability to slow time for 3 seconds after a successful parry.
For players who do not have the Deluxe Edition, the closest thing to it is unlocking the Kick Back ability, which allows players to temporarily stun opponents after a successful parry. The only other time-slowing ability is the Air Strike skill, which will allow Basim to slow timewhen using throwing kniveswhile also in mid-jump.

3Sand Sword
Much like the Dagger of Time, the Sand Sword is a weapon exclusive to Deluxe Edition players, and is best used in tandem with it. When enemies are killed during the time-slowed period of the Dagger of Time, the Sand Sword will restore 20% of Basim’s health.
This combination gives Basim one of the most powerful builds in the game, ensuring that he is continually topping up on health regeneration while simultaneously eliminating his opponents. On its own, the Sand Sword is considerably less effective than with the dagger.

2The Samsaama
The Samsaama is a legendary Isu dagger kept in the chamber beneath theOasis in the Northern wilderness. Players will travel here are part of Nehal’s quest “The Calling,” which requires Basim to collect Mysterious Shards to unlock this powerful weaponry.
The dagger will grant Basim a 10% increase in Health for every 5th hit landed on an enemy. This ensures that Basim has a continual and steady regeneration of health in combat, making him significantly harder to kill.

1Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar
The Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar is a legendary Isu dagger also housed in the Oasis at the top of the Northern Wilderness andwill require 3 Mysterious Shards to unlock. This sword is a game-changer and makes combat much faster even if slightly more precarious.
At the cost of lowering Basim’s health by 50%, his damage output will also be increased by 50%. Like the other legendary Isu weapons, no upgrade schematics are required for this weapon as it already comes fully upgraded when unlocked.
