Axiom Verge 2 Gishru Boomerang Location
The Gishru Boomerang is located in The Glacier, where players will be dropped soon after the game’s intro sequence ends. From the Urn where players spawn, follow the pathway left. It’s the only direction that players will be able to travel, so it should be fairly obvious. After a few cells, players will see a large drop-off leading straight down, broken up by a few platforms and enemies. Follow that pathway all the way to the bottom then head right. Eventually, there will be another break in the path complete with platforms. Take the one that leads up slightly, just below the top-most path.
Head a few more cells to the right, and there it is. Players will findAxiom Verge 2’sGishru Boomerang hanging below a light, giving them access to a ranged weapon. The Boomerang is useful for opening some doors early on, so it’s a vital piece ofAxiom Verge 2’sinitial exploration. It does a little bit more damage than the Ice Pick, the first weapon that players receive, so it’s a useful thing for players to add to their toolbelts.
Axiom Verge 2is atrue Metroidvania title, and finding the Gishru Boomerang can be seen as one of its first real challenges. It’s not the most difficult item in the game to locate by any stretch of the imagination, though it should get players ready for what’s to come later on in the game, a method that some of thebest Metroidvania gamesout there use to get players up to speed. Of course, that’s probably just what the doctor ordered for most fans.
