On top of the update, those that haven’t purchasedAssassin’s Creed Valhallawill have the chance to try it for free. From February 24-28, Ubisoft will be offering a free trial, allowing potential Vikings to get a taste of whatValhallaholds. Four days is a healthy chunk of time for a trial, even enough to potentially beatValhallafor those that dedicate their free time to it, but probably not enough to see all it has to offer.

Luckily, the free periods are usually also coupled with some sort of sale, and givenValhalla’sappearances in recentPlayStation Store sales, there’s a good chance that it will be offered at a sizable discount. It’s been supported with a few beefy pieces of DLC, so there’s plenty to see and do inValhallafor those looking for a game to dump boatloads of time into.

Plus, there’s more content on the horizon, too, which rounds out the roadmap. On March 10, Ubisoft will launchAssassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, which will focus on Odin and their attempts to rescue their son Baldur. It’s not surprising to seeValhallareceive so much support considering its reception, and Ubisoft will doubtlessly have more to come before it drops it’s nextAssassin’s Creedgame.

A newAssassin’sCreedgame may be closer than some think, though. Reports indicate that anAssassin’s Creedgame following Basimis in the works, originally being a DLC that grew in scope to a full project. Ubisoft hasn’t yet confirmed the new game, but it makes sense given the company’s light new release schedule in the coming months.
