“Blessing”
As the battle between Ferdinand and Bindewald continues, Myne protects her family and friends with a magical wind barrier. As Ferdinand wins the clash and sends Bindewald flying, Sylvester and Karstedt arrive at the cathedral. As the High Priest Bezewanst, who turns out to be Sylvester’s uncle, pleads with Sylvester to save him, Karstedt introduces Sylvester as Aub Ehrenfest, the lord of the domain.
Everyone in the room immediately ceases fighting and bow respectfully to Sylvester. Bindewald immediately begs that Sylvester immediately punish Myne for the crime of attacking a noble despite being a commoner. However, Sylvester corrects Bindewald and tells him that Myne is actually his adopted daughter. Sylvester calls Myne to him and displaysthe black protective charmthat he had given to her. He explains that the charm will finalize any contract the moment a blood seal makes contact with it. Since Myne placed her blood seal on the charm earlier, that finalized the adoption process, making her the daughter of the lord of Ehrenfest.

He then charges Bindewald for attacking his daughter, and Karstedt restrains him before he can escape. Bezewanst, fearing for his own skin, claims that he was fooled and had nothing to do with Bindewald’s plan, but Sylvester refuses to believe him. When Bezewanst insults Ferdinand, Sylvester reveals that Ferdinand is his half-brother, and chides him for speaking ill of him. Bezewanst tries to turn Sylvester against Ferdinand, but his pleas do not work. Realizing that Bezewanst has gone too far, Sylvester immediately declares that Bezewanst and all of his accomplices will be put to death.
As the High Priest and his attendants are led out of the cathedral, Delia asks Myne to take good care of Dirk. Myne, feeling pity for Delia, asks Sylvester if it was possible to spare Delia the death penalty. Sylvester, however, insists that she must face punishment. Since Myne is now going to be the daughter of a lord, he decides to have Mynedecide the punishmentfor Delia. Myne declares that Delia will return to the orphanage, and she will never be able to become an attendant again. While Delia is brought to tears, she does thank Myne for saving her life.

Sylvester tells Gunther to bring his family to the cathedral in order to finalize the adoption process. Meanwhile, Sylvester, Karstedt, and Ferdinand discuss with Myne about her adoption to Sylvester. Since Myne being a commoner complicates things, Ferdinand plans to have Myne’s background be Karstedt’s secret biological daughter with his deceased third wife. Sylvester explains that while Myne will be able to continue working with the Gilberta Company, she must cut all ties with her biological family.
Myne’s family arrive at the cathedral, where they meet with Sylvester. Sylvester explains to them the adoption process, and that they must now treat Myne as if she is stranger, and tell everyone around her that Myne has died. Myne reads out the terms of the contract: Myne and her familymust treat each other as strangers, and they must treat Myne with the respect a noble deserves. Tuuli doesn’t want to sign the contract, but Myne wishes to protect her family no matter what. Myne swears that she’ll never forget Tuuli, and that when she becomes a seamstress, she’ll ask her to make all of her clothes.
In the end, Myne’s family decides to sign the contract and each say their farewells to her. Myne swears to continue making books and toys for Kamil as she says her farewells to everyone. Myne’s mana flares up, and while Ferdinand is worried that her mana is going berserk, Myne says that she wants to leave her family with a blessing. Myne casts a blessing of divine protection that not only envelops her family, but all of her loved ones. Myne then says farewell to her family one last time and signs the contract. Sylvester reintroduces Myne as Rozemyne, his adopted daughter. Myne’s family treat her respectfully as the daughter of the lord, then leave.
