Armored Core 6hasmultiple endings depending on player choices.There are multiple decision missions during a playthrough. Choosing between the two missions will alter the story. The decision missions in Chapter 5 are the most important as they effect which ending the player receives.
If fans chose to eliminate Carla and work for Ayre they have chosen the Liberator of Rubicon ending. This is the good ending and will result in a final boss fight with none other than Handler Walter himself. Best Build for Beating Handler Walter
Some of these parts are rarer than most and can be found by looking for hidden containersor finding Combat Logs.The important bits are being able to carry the powerful Zimmerman Shotguns and Songbirds. The actual AC build should be balanced and able to dodge at a decent speed. The Pulse Armor can be used when staggered to prevent losing the fight.
Handler Walter Moveset
Walter’s AC uses some standard guns and missiles that are easy to dodge as long as the player stays on the move. His bigger charged moves are the only real issue.If he begins charging the Coral Oscillatoron his left side he will swing it to his right in a large swing.Fly above the swing to avoid it.
He will occasionally detonate his red pulse shield in a large explosion like previous bosses. Look for his shield flashing and back away immediately.
If he begins charging the Coral Rifle on his right side he will fire a large beam at the player. Walter can follow the player with the beam so keep boosting away from it until it dissipates.
Strategy
This fight is about staying mid to long-range from Walter and avoiding his attacks. The duel Zimmermans and Songbirds should quickly take down his pulse shield and stagger him. There is no reason to bring melee weapons as it’s very difficult to stay close to him. There is no second phase, but he has two repair kits that he will use to heal. Handler Walter is notquite as difficult as earlier bosses,but can still be a sturdy test of the player’s build and skill.
