Of course, it is worth noting that cat villagers are one of the most popular species in the franchise, which is why those in this tier are still more recognizable than those belonging to a less popular species. Among the villagers on this list, Kabuki is probably the most popular. Having a cranky personality, Kabuki will mostly appear grouchy and agitated towards the player and is more difficult to befriend than most villagers. His name comes from the traditional Japanese theatre style, which also influenced his unique look.
