The next big update forAnimal Crossing: New Horizonslaunches November 19, and it is adding quite a lot to the game. In addition to special Turkey Day and Toy Day celebrations, there are new items and features being added. Two of the biggest things are new Nook Miles Items that players can purchase. These items include a bundle of newAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayer reactions as well as six stylish new hairstyles.
With travel in the real world in a continued state of limbo right now, players are sure to have plenty of fun social gatherings in-game this holiday season. Turkey Day will be on November 26 and will have a feast for players to help prepare. Toy Day will arrive on December 24 and ask players to help deliver presents to villagers. Both of these events will come with new characters and festivities. These gatherings are the perfect excuses for players tospruce up theirAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsislandwith the new Nook Miles items.

While these two events are short celebrations, the new Nook Miles items are here forever. The first item is the Hip Reaction Collection. This can be purchased for 2,700 tickets and includes several new reactions that players can perform. Some of these are exactly what their names suggest, such as Wave Goodbye, Take a Picture, and Sit Down. Sniff Sniff lets the player smell whatever delicious food is in front of them. For the exercise types, Work Out and Yoga let them show offtheirAnimal Crossingfitness routines.
There is also a new Here You Go reaction, where the villager gestures outward as if presenting something. This will likely be used often whenAnimal Crossingplayers drop items to give to their friendsin combination with the new Ta-da reaction that gestures in a similar manner. The new Excited reaction lets the player have a little dance to show off their excitement, which seems like a good fit in general for all of these new reactions.
The other new Nook Miles item is the Top 6 Stylish Hairstyles forAnimal Crossingplayers who want some new styles. This costs 1,800 tickets and gives the player new hair options. These styles range from fun long hair to close-cropped. There is a new bun option, a large afro style, and a large wavy one that looks like a cloud resting on the player’s head. There is even a new clean-shaven option for players that prefer no hairstyle.
Thenext bigAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsupdateis scheduled for late January 2021, so players have plenty of time to have fun with these new items before then. There is no telling what the next update will include but it is sure to follow suite and have something for almost everyone. Until then, players can show off their new hairstyles and reactions in the comfort of their friends’ islands.
