As a shopkeeper living in Amber Isle, players will have the opportunity toname, customize, and organize their own businesshowever they like and can spend the shop’s profits on decor, walls, floors, resources, and more. Further income from the shop can be used to purchase upgrades for things such as foliage, pathways, and amenities, and this cash can even be used to unlock new areas. InAmber Isle, there are almost 50 individual Paleofolk to befriend and cater to, as every character’s unique personalities lead to different requests.
By hanging out with the Paleofolk and fulfilling their needs, players can increase their friendship status to earn new upgrades and recipes. Villagers will also build their own small businesses to contribute to Amber Isle’s growing economy. LikeAnimal Crossing, players can customize their character’s outfit and presets to create an avatar in their likeness. Rather than relying on the generosity of a capitalist raccoon, players are tasked with operating their own small business and working to build a functioning society from the ground up, which isa mechanic that manyAnimal Crossingfans have wanted for years.
