Players can pre-order the Switch version ofThe Witcher 3from Amazon for $49.94, which is 17% off its original list price of $59.99. The game was originally released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One and featured stellar graphics and mountains of content. Given the sheer size of the game alone, some were skeptical about how the Nintendo console will be able to run the game. However, the Japanese publication Famitsu claims thatThe Witcher 3runs 40% faster on the Nintendo Switch.
Last August,CD Projekt Red may have teasedThe Witcher4during its recent earnings report. The developer confirmed thatThe Witcher 3is still selling well despite it being released four years ago, and its outlook for its upcoming gameCyberpunk 2077remains positive. In light of this, the studio revealed that both franchises will be moving to a dual-franchise model, which means that those games will be a big part of CD Projekt Red’s future plans.
Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red is currently pre-occupied with the development of its sci-fi RPG,Cyberpunk 2077. The upcoming game is set in the futuristic world of Night City, featuring a vast open-world environment containing six unique regions. The game will also feature actor Keanu Reeves, who will be joining the game as Johnny Silverhand.
