Alan Wake 2: Coffee World Stash Key & Container Locations
As previously noted, the Coffee World Stash is situated very near to theHuotari Well, which players will pass if they follow the signs that point toward the Espresso Express. More specifically, it is against therock formation that is just north of the well, and the map that is above will helpAlan Wakefanspinpoint its precise position.

With the location of the Cult Stash established, players can now set their sights on locating the Coffee World Stash Key, which is used to open the container. As alluded to by the note on top of the Stash, that key is hiding “behind the smile,” which is a reference to the smiling coffee pot that serves asCoffee World’s mascot.
While players can see this mascot all over Coffee World, primarily on signs, thelarge coffee pot sculpturethat is sitting near thegazebohas the smile that is of interest. Indeed, fans ofsurvival horror video gamesare intended to climb the wood stairs and look behind that sculpture, and they will find the Coffee World Stash Key near the skinny tree at its back-left side.
Players now have all the information that is needed to solve the “what hides behind the smile” puzzle, and they will find a Hand Flare, some Handgun Ammo, and some Shotgun Ammo upon opening the Coffee World Stash. While fans that have been struggling to keepAlan Wake 2’s Saga Andersonhealthy may have hoped to find some healing items in the container, the ammunition will definitely be useful to players that have been taking an aggressive approach.
