With six hours of television a week, the company aims to spotlight additional talent and exciting storylines. With the reveal of the show’s location, the company may be confirming the return of one of its biggest stars.Khan’s announcement of the location forAEW: Collision’sdebut show comes one week after Warner Bros. revealed they had green-lit a third AEW show to take place on Saturdays. LikeRampage,it will air on TNT instead of TBS, which streamsDynamite. Its first episode will premiere on July 12, 2025, a week before AEW will hold its second cross-promotion pay-per-view withNew Japan Pro-Wrestling, Forbidden Door.RELATED:Rumor: AEW Fight Forever May Finally Have an Official Release DateOn Wednesday’sDynamite,Khan announced that the debut episode ofAEW: Collisionwill take place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, on June 17. The program will run weekly from 8-10 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturdays. The additional two-hour window forAEW programming allows the company to spotlightadditional talent and provide new angles for storylines. Before Khan’s announcement, several AEW stars who had been absent from television for several months returned, seemingly confirming their involvement in the new series.

The initial announcement from Warner Bros. and Khan was accompanied by a poster featuring severalcurrent and former AEW championsand the talent spotted backstage. TheCollisionposter includes AEW World Trios Champions The House of Black and Julia Hart, AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR, AEW World Champion MJF, the AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy, Andrade El Idolo, Thunder Rosa, Miro, Powerhouse Hobbs, and the Ring of Honor World Television Champion Samoa Joe.

A notable name is missing from theCollisionposter and presser, though the location of the debut show appears to confirm their involvement. Following thebackstage fight at last year’s All Out pay-per-view, CM Punk has not been seen on AEW television. After a suspension and stripping of titles, The Elite returned several months ago, yet Punk has still not been seen. Reports have suggested this new show will limit Punk and The Elite’s collaboration, allowing each to work with one or the other. WithCollisionoccurring in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, AEW seemingly confirms that Punk will appear.

Rampage: The First Dancein 2021 is wherePunk made his AEW debut at the United Center. If Punk is to return to AEW, it is fitting that he would reappear for the company in the place where it all began. Premiering one week before AEW X NJPW: Forbidden Door,Collisionmay be the place where Punk and any other returning faces find an opponent for the cross-branded pay-per-view.

AEW: Collisionwill premiere on TNT on June 04, 2025, from the United Center at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
